Day 1: Departure from Madhya Pradesh
Begin your journey from Madhya Pradesh by train or flight ( own cost ) to Srinagar. If traveling by train, board the overnight train to Jammu Tawi and continue by cab to Srinagar. If by flight, take a connecting flight via Delhi to reach Srinagar. Overnight journey.
Day 2: Arrive in Srinagar – Local City Tours
Arrive at Srinagar Airport, where our representative will receive you. Transfer to your hotel/houseboat and freshen up. Begin your sightseeing with the beautiful Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, set by the Dal Lake. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake and soak in the breathtaking views. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Excursion to Sonmarg – The Meadow of Gold
After breakfast, start for a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, a picturesque hill station located about 80 kilometers from Srinagar. Sonmarg is known as the Meadow of Gold because of its lush green valleys and golden hues during the spring season. The drive to Sonmarg is scenic with beautiful views of mountains and rivers along the way. On arrival, you can enjoy a horse ride to Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains throughout the year, making it a favorite spot for tourists and photographers. Spend some leisure time admiring the natural beauty before returning to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at your houseboat or hotel.
Day 4: Srinagar to Gulmarg – Experience the Gondola Ride
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, which is around 50 kilometers from Srinagar and is one of the most popular destinations in Kashmir. Gulmarg is famous for its vast green meadows during summer and snowy landscapes during winter. On arrival, check into your hotel and later enjoy the world-famous Gondola ride, which takes you from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg or even further to Apharwat Peak for an additional cost. The cable car ride offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks, lush valleys, and snow-covered slopes. You can also explore the local market or simply relax in the serene surroundings. Day 5: Gulmarg to Pahalgam – Via Saffron Gardens and Avantipur
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Pahalgam, also called the Valley of Shepherds. On the way, stop at the Saffron Gardens of Pampore, where vibrant saffron flowers bloom in season, and visit the ancient Avantipur temple ruins. The drive passes through apple orchards and pine forests before reaching Pahalgam. In the evening, enjoy a stroll by the River Lidder or explore the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 6: Pahalgam Local Sightseeing – Baisaran Valley and Valleys Tour
Today, after breakfast, explore the highlights of Pahalgam. Take a pony ride or local cab to visit Baisaran Valley, popularly known as Mini Switzerland, offering lush green meadows surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Later, visit Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie, and Aru Valley, known for its scenic beauty and trekking trails. If time permits, also visit Chandanwari. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 7: Pahalgam to Srinagar and Return to Madhya Pradesh
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Pahalgam and drive back to Srinagar Airport for your return journey to Madhya Pradesh by flight or train( own cost ). If you are traveling by train, you will be driven to Jammu Tawi station to board the train back home. Arrive in Madhya Pradesh with unforgettable memories of the enchanting valleys, snow-clad mountains, and serene lakes of Kashmir.
