On Day 1 of your family holiday package from Ahmedabad you will arrival at the airport/railway-station/bus-stand in Mumbai or Pune from there our representative will get you to Mahabaleshwar.
Mahabaleshwar is a hilly township settled in the forested Western Ghats. At arrival you will be checked-into a hotel, after which the rest for the while and later you will begin the sightseeing tour by visiting the temples in Mahabaleshwar.
Mahabaleshwar Mandir - This is a 16th century Lord Shiva temple built by Chandrarao More in Hemadant architectural style.
Panchganga Temple - This temple is situated on the confluence of five rivers, Krishna, Venna, Savitri, Koyna and Gayatri.
Krishnabai or Krishna Devi - This temple was built in 1888 on a hilltop, overlooking the Krishna Valley. The structure houses a Shiva-linga and a statue of Lord Krishna.
After that, you will pay a visit to the stunning vantage points, namely - Arthur's Seat Point , Savitri Point, Bombay Point and Elphinstone Point.
On Day 2, you will restart the sightseeing tour of the most popular Mahabaleshwar tourist sites and visit the Lodwick Point. You will also travel to Venna Lake and Dam to enjoy the sights as well as water activities. Besides this, you will go around the Elephant's Head Point and Kate's Point to enjoy the views of the verdant valley, Lingmala Waterfalls, and Mapro Garden for strawberry picking.
On Day 3, you will proceed to Khandala- another astounding hill-station of the Western Ghats. Here you will spend the day by going sightseeing to - the Karla Caves - these are Buddhist caves with inscriptions carved on the walls. They date back to the 2nd and 5th century BC, Lion's Point, Tiger's Leap Point - this vantage point gets its name as the cliff looks like a leaping tiger, Bhushi Dam, Rajmachi Point and Duke's Nose Point.
On Day 4, you will complete the second and final round of Lonavala sightseeing by visiting - the Celebrity Wax Museum, Bhaja Caves - these are also centuries old Buddhist caves that have the religion's teachings engraved on the walls, Lohagarh Fort - perched on a hilltop at 1050 meters, this fort was built by Guru Govind Singh in 1564 CE to be used as a prison, and Pawna Lake.
By the end of a fun filled day, you will depart from Lonavala to the airport or railway-station in Mumbai/Pune to travel back to your homes.
