Itinerary
Day 2
Guptkashi - Gaurikund - Kedarnath | Trail to Pristine Abode of Lord Shiva amid the Unparalleled Beauty of the Himalayas
- Wake up with the mesmerizing view of mountains all across in Guptkashi.
- Before embarking towards Gaurikund, take packed breakfast with you that you can have on the way to Kedarnath as you'll have to start early at around 4:00 A.M.
- A vehicle will take you to Sonprayag after which private vehicles are not allowed & you'll need to walk (approx 1km) to the government taxi stand from where a taxi will drop you to Gauri Kund.
- Gauri Kund is a place where Lord Shiva finally admitted His love for Lord Gauri as well as it is a characteristic pool with warm water known for relieving skin maladies.
- Start the trek to the Kedarnath from Gauri Kund.
- You can take ponies or palanquins for the journey at your own cost.
- Trek through the beautiful valley and river stream flowing in between both of them.
- Have lunch stop in between and continue the journey, you will get to see the Kedarnath Temple, situated right at the centre of the valley with mountains on every side looking like they are providing safety to the temples.
- After offering prayers at Kedarnath, trek back to Guptkashi, have dinner & take a rest.
- Overnight stay and dinner at a hotel in Guptkashi.
Day 3
Guptkashi - Rishikesh | Enjoy the scenic view of Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas
- Refuel yourself with a substantial breakfast at the inn.
- Post breakfast continue to Rishikesh where on reaching if time permits you can explore colourful markets, Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula.
- Have dinner at Rishikesh & take a rest.
- Overnight Stay at Rishikesh.
Day 4
Rishikesh-Haridwar | Indulge in adventurous river rafting to feel the thrill within
- Wake up in the morning & get ready to experience the thrill of rafting through the cold waters of Ganga.
- Get transferred to the start point for Rafting.
- Experience a round of enthralling rapids hitting your face and body while you drift by curves in the flowing river is a memory to be cherished, take a rest stop at maggie point & go for cliff jumping.
- Get ready for the adrenaline rush & the excitement experienced while riding & tumbling down the white waters of fast flowing river while rafting.
- Get transferred to the hotel where you can freshen up &have your delicious breakfast.
- Complete the check out formalities of the hotel & depart for Haridwar.
- Conclude the trip with glorious memories after reaching Haridwar.
